ABOUT MONICA
Life giving, sustaining, beautiful food. I have been writing about, preparing, styling and photographing food my entire professional career. First, as an editor for national food magazines, then, as an independent contractor for the Chicago Tribune, the food industry, and many media outlets.
I approach each presentation as if composing a painting, carefully considering the color and texture of each ingredient as I prop and style, using natural light and varied surfaces to achieve the most beautiful results.
I welcome the opportunity to showcase your food with the same care and craftsmanship.
Education:
Bachelor of Arts, Journalism; English Literature/Photography minor.
Post-graduate studies in photography at the School of the Art Institute, Chicago, and Kendall College.
